63c10a51fc Review and extend the documentation, and check it in CI (#5638)
* Review and extend the documentation, and check it in CI

A review of all documentation pages found factual errors, dead links,
missing cross-references, and gaps in examples. This fixes them and adds
checks so the same problems are caught automatically.

Fixes:
- wrong signatures and version histories (operator!= C++20 member,
  binary() subtype type, get<PointerType>(), JSON_NO_THREAD_LOCAL, ...)
- stale descriptions (number parsing since #5283, UBJSON table, SAX
  example that no longer compiled, tsl::ordered_map advice)
- dead internal and external links; repology.org badges (the domain is
  suspended) replaced by badges that query the registries directly
- deprecation notes link the migration guide; the guide itself fixed

Additions:
- "See also" sections, cross-references, 25 runnable examples, 12
  Mermaid diagrams, new API pages for json_pointer::operator<=> and
  byte_container_with_subtype::operator==/!=
- landing page, guides for untrusted input and performance
- "unreleased" badge after versions newer than the latest release

Checks:
- strict documentation build (broken links/anchors fail it); CI and
  the publish workflow fetch the full history the build needs
- weekly external link check, Mermaid syntax check in CI
- check_structure.py: example titles, heading levels, alt texts,
  header links, docset index coverage; its unused-example check works
  again
- all examples produce the same output on every platform

* Keep the customer links that could not be fixed

A dead link on the customers page is still the evidence of where the
use of the library was documented. Keep the original URLs of the entries
without a working replacement (Marne, Cisco Webex Desk Camera, Philips
Hue, CyberArk) and exclude exactly these URLs from the link check.

* Correct the duplicate-key recipe's claim about SAX positions

The SAX interface's key() receives no position either; only parse_error()
does. Also note that the recipe does not report the path to the repeated
key (see discussion #5085).

* Say the library is available as a single header and mention json_fwd.hpp

* Correct documentation errors found while hunting for bugs

- patch/patch_inplace: list the JSON pointer errors parse_error.106-109
  and out_of_range.402/404, and quote the actual parse_error.105 message.
- unflatten: list parse_error.106/107/108 and out_of_range.404.
- to_bson: list out_of_range.415 (binary subtype above 255) and note
  that 412 and 415 are new in 3.13.0.
- to_string: state that string_t must be convertible to std::string, also
  in the StringType requirements table.
- JSON Lines: a `while (input >> j)` loop also throws after the last value
  for concatenated JSON values; show a loop that works for both.
- BON8: a string gets 0xFF only if nothing follows it in the message; a
  string at the end of an array or object is ended by 0xFE.
- custom_string_type.hpp: add operator+=(char), which the "Always
  required" list asks for (json_pointer::to_string, flatten, unflatten,
  and diff did not compile), and an ADL int_to_string for diff and items.

* Cache the release headers with functools.lru_cache

Codacy (Pylint) flagged the mutable default argument that header() used
as its cache. functools.lru_cache keeps the same memoization without it.
The script's output is unchanged.

65af260117 Move instead of deep-copy ordered_json values when an object grows (#5609)
* Move instead of deep-copy ordered_json values when an object grows

ordered_map keeps its elements in a std::vector<std::pair<const Key, T>>.
With a std::string key, that pair is not nothrow move constructible (the
const key has to be copied), so std::vector copies every element when it
reallocates. For ordered_json, this deep-copies every member value an
object already holds, including whole nested subtrees, on each growth
step.

Grow the storage in ordered_map instead, copying the keys and moving the
values. This happens in two phases, so the strong exception guarantee is
kept without try/catch. The first phase may throw, but only touches a
temporary buffer: it copies the keys, value-initializes the values, and
constructs the new element. The second phase moves the values (noexcept)
and swaps the buffers. Because the new element is constructed before any
value is moved, arguments that refer to elements of the container stay
valid, as with std::vector. Types that cannot take this path keep the
std::vector behavior.

Parsing into ordered_json (ParseStringOrdered, Apple M1 Max, clang -O3):
twitter 3.20 -> 1.70 ms, citm_catalog 7.73 -> 3.67 ms, jeopardy 219 ->
177 ms, canada unchanged. The number of allocations for twitter and
citm_catalog drops by two thirds.

Also add ParseStringOrdered rows to the benchmarks, and document the
growth behavior and the exception safety of ordered_map.

* Fix CI: skip std::pair noexcept assumptions on EDG-based compilers

ci_icpc and ci_nvhpc failed to compile unit-ordered_map.cpp: the static
assertion that std::pair<const std::string, ordered_json> is not nothrow
move-constructible fails there. The EDG front end (Intel icpc 2021.10,
NVIDIA nvc++ 25.5) considers the defaulted move constructor of
std::pair<const Key, T> noexcept even if copying Key can throw. With these
compilers, std::vector already moves such elements itself when it grows,
and ordered_map correctly leaves growing to it.

The same misjudgement makes std::vector call std::terminate when a key copy
throws during growth, so the exception-safety test with throwing_key would
abort on these compilers as well.

Skip the static assertion and the exception-safety section when __EDG__ is
defined. Verified with icpc 2021.10 (-std=gnu++11) and nvc++ 25.5 (C++11 and
C++17) on Compiler Explorer: unit-ordered_map and unit-disabled_exceptions
build and pass.

c2e1cc50e0 docs: document the complexity of ordered_map operations (#5353)
* docs: document the complexity of ordered_map operations

ordered_map stores its elements in a std::vector in insertion order and
has no lookup index, so emplace, operator[], at, find, count, erase, and
insert are all linear scans. The documentation stated no complexity for
any operation, neither in ordered_map.md nor in ordered_json.md.

Add a per-operation complexity table and note the consequence: building
or parsing an ordered_json object of n keys is O(n^2). Measured with
-O2 -DNDEBUG for parsing a flat object of n keys, ordered_json is 5x
slower than json at n=2000 and 54x slower at n=16000, with the timings
quadrupling per doubling of n. Cross-reference the table from
ordered_json.md and from the object order page, which recommends
ordered_json without mentioning the cost.

* docs: move the Complexity section after Member functions

scripts/check_structure.py enforces a fixed section order for pages under
docs/mkdocs/docs/api, in which Complexity comes after Member functions.
The section had been placed right after Iterator invalidation, which made
ci_test_build_documentation fail with structure/section_order.

No content change beyond the move; the table columns are realigned to the
narrower content.
