was reached, i.e. it was present anywhere on the call stack, not only when
it was executing. Recursive re-entries can be either ignored or counted
separately.
- Entry stacks are now also available for symbols which were only reached,
but never directly sampled, e.g. in the assembly view of a call site with
purely child sample costs.
- Fixed inclusive sample counts of symbols with inline functions. Each
sample was counted multiple times: once for the symbol itself and once for
every of its inline functions present on the call stack.
- Fixed context switch samples leaking into per-symbol sample lists and
child sample data on trace load. This inflated range-limited sample counts
and child call costs, and made loaded traces disagree with live sessions,
where such samples are excluded from sampling statistics.
- Fixed wrong results of range-limited child call queries during live
capture, when some samples had to wait for context switch data to arrive.
- Fixed crashes when opening the sample entry stacks window for symbols
without any sampling data.
- Sampling statistics percentages are now calculated against the number of
samples that were actually collected. Previously, enabling the range
filter switched the calculation to a theoretical single-thread estimate,
which changed both the meaning and the scale of the displayed values.
- System tracing on Windows has been refactored to be more robust.
- Tracing on Arm macOS will now have more precise timer readings.
- Extended CUDA support to track some previously missing memory operations.
